Brothers
Joe and John Boisvert first started making maple syrup in
their teens, and through high-school, took up farming.
In 1995 the brothers purchased the family farm and
built their Sugar Shack.
One year later they opened the North Hadley Sugar
Shack to serve New England pancake breakfasts that featured
their own maple syrup.
The popularity of
their maple sugar products allows the brothers to be open
daily from mid-February until the end of April for their
pancake breakfast and sugaring tours. Through the summer, from
May until mid August, the sugar house is closed. From mid August until December 23rd
the sugar house is open daily featuring fall squashes, fall
decorations like Indian corn, straw bales, gourds, mums and
pumpkins. They stay open through the Holiday season making
maple gift baskets, Christmas trees, and decorations.
